Maine's BizBoard
COUPONS, LOCAL BUSINESS DEALS AND OFFERS

I checked out advertising options for local stores, small businesses and self-employed parents. As far as print and online options, the only free option was Craigslist, which does not allow advertising, only standard buy/ sell offers.

The BizBoard will be the first true open-to-the-public option I have found, and I can't wait for the first round of advertising to the public.

I'm still looking for a few contributors for articles and spotlight pieces on Maine's local events, business trends, and local small business news. Feel free to contact me for more info.

Today marked the start of a new way for Maine businesses to share information and see what is going on with other businesses around them. The Maine's Biz Board was created for one reason: To start the inevitable process of online Business Networking and consumer education of what's available in their area. Trends are showing more and more people weekly are looking to the internet for information regarding other local businesses in the area, whether for research for their own business ventures or for personal use.

It has always been my goal to be able to share as much as I can about my business with as many people as possible. I started to break out of my shell and really promote my business at after hours and marking events. Years later, my efforts began paying off as I was starting to be recognized by certain local business networks prior to even introducing myself. I had some success my first few years with weekly networking groups, but found it hard to afford or difficult to commit to attending each meeting. After joining a few other groups and meeting some great people in different industries, Freedom Networking Of Maine was born. Its long time goal of simplifying weekly networking, reducing costs for joining, and increasing results for such short interactions seems to finally be gaining attention.

So what's next to do? Go out there and find the next great Business to Business marketers, opinionated customers, and die-hard fans of the great state of Maine, working hard together to bring the best Maine has to offer forward and into the spotlight. And if you're reading this blog, then first of all, thank you. Second of all, we should do business together. Thanks for your support and ideas

    Sergio Aguilera:
Since he was able to work, Sergio Aguilera has been hard at work trying to make a difference in his local reach. At the age of 17, he became one of the youngest known educators in Connecticut history, teaching computer and office courses to senior citizens, local business professionals and out-of-work professionals for the Connecticut Department Of Labor for his High School's Adult Education Program. After years of successful courses and achievements, he entered the world of sales and customer relations. After moving to Maine in 2007, he saw a chance to finally open his own business and become his own boss. By March of 2008, Statepro Property Services launched with one client and one purpose: Repainting apartments to ready them for the next tenant. Years later, Statepro is moving up to become a well known and respected solution for interior, exterior, residential and commercial painting solutions, while still offering the affordable pricing that put Statepro on the map. He became the father of Dominic Hayden Aguilera on January 23, 2010 and has great hopes for the direction of his family, company, and business endeavors..
